The Sports Museum of America will also have former NBA All-Star John Starks, New York Liberty Center Kym Hampton and the New York Sharks on hand for a day of learning and fun on Monday, October 13 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
To mark the occasion, fans of all ages can enjoy the festivities, including a tour of New York City's hottest new attraction, for a reduced ticket price of $19 for adult tickets (16+) and $12 for children (6-15). Kids five years of age and under are free.
After winning the Olympic silver medal at this year's Olympics in Beijing, Jennie Finch, Cat Osterman and the USA Women's Softball Team will meet fans and sign autographs, while John Starks and Kym Hampton host a skills clinic on the basics of basketball. USA Softball's Jessica Mendoza is the Women's Sports Foundation's President-elect.
Sports Commissioner Ken Podziba will present the women's tackle football team with a letter from the mayor's office and the team will donate a jersey from owner and former quarterback Andra Douglas to the Museum.
